I AM BETHUNE-COOKMAN UNIVERSITY

What attracted you to Bethune-Cookman University? The rich history of Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune and the experience I had during a college tour back in 2009.

If you could describe Bethune-Cookman University and your experience in three words or more, what would they be and why? Because of the impact the University has had on my life, I would describe B-CU as powerful, fun, and life-changing.

What is your Greatest Accomplishment and why? My greatest accomplishment is graduating from Bethune-Cookman and building lifetime relationships.

Was there a staff or faculty member who had the most influence on your life while you were a student at B-CU, and if so, who and why? Yes, Mr. Jackson (History Professor) he was a down to earth individual that cared about his students. He was very knowledgeable and shared information and facts on world history and African American History.

How did your time at Bethune-Cookman University prepare you for graduate school and/or shape your career path? My time at Bethune-Cookman prepared me for my career path because of the professors that taught me, the transparency they provided when explaining life after college and what to expect. Bethune-Cookman was a pivotal point in my life, guiding me in the right direction.

What do you like to do for fun? I love traveling the world and collecting memories with my loved ones.

What advice/insight do you have for students or future students interested in your career field or in life and achieving their dreams/passion? My advice to current and future students is to believe in your dreams and aspirations. Manifest who you want to become and never give up.

What would you tell parents thinking about enrolling their child at Bethune-Cookman University? I would tell parents that their child will enter to learn and depart to serve and accomplish great things in their lives. Attending Bethune-Cookman was the best decision I've ever made and I have no regrets.

Thank you Bethune-Cookman University!

Hail Wildcats!
