Alumni Admissions Ambassadors
Alumni Admissions Ambassadors play a significant role in helping B-CU recruit future Wildcats.
Through referrals, personal interaction, story sharing, and encouragement, alumni can make the difference between a student choosing Bethune-Cookman or another university or college.
Alumni Admissions Ambassadors help Bethune-Cookman University:
-
Increase the number of qualified undergraduate students applying and enrolling at Bethune-Cookman University.
-
Serve as a valuable, local resource
-
Assist the Admissions Office staff
Opportunities for Alumni Admissions Ambassadors include:
Serve as a College Fair Representative
B-CU's Admissions Office receives too many invitations to college fairs each year for our staff to attend. Admissions ambassadors attend fairs in their local area on behalf of Bethune-Cookman University, where they hand out admissions publications, answer basic questions, and share their personal stories.
Assist with Admitted Student Outreach
Sharing your Bethune-Cookman University stories and perspective with admitted students is extremely valuable, and can be an essential part of their decision-making process. Our ambassadors share their stories through emails, phone calls, and letters.
Attend Admissions Events
Through prospective student open-houses, Admitted Students Days, and similar programs, alumni ambassadors contribute to a positive campus visit experience by making personal connections with visiting students and their families.
Refer a student to B-CU
Alumni admissions ambassadors help B-CU identify future talent by referring an interested prospective student, friend, or colleague.
