The Legacy Partners Giving Society was created for those who want to move beyond participation — and step into leadership.

Legacy Partners strengthens unrestricted giving, increases alumni participation, and ensures the University has the flexible resources necessary to respond to student needs, academic innovation, and strategic growth. Most importantly, it builds a powerful network of alumni and friends who are invested in shaping B-CU’s future.

If you are a former National Alumni Association Life Member, we are proud to grandfather you into the Associate Partner category upon submission of your pledge form and proof of life membership.

Membership is open to alumni, faculty, staff, and friends who believe in sustaining the Wildcat legacy. Your membership level is determined by cumulative hard credit gifts over the past three fiscal years, and initial commitments may be pledged over three years.

Legacy Partners Giving Society Overview

The Legacy Partners Giving Society supports the University’s long-term development priorities and provides a structured pathway for meaningful alumni engagement and recognition.

The Society exists to:

Cultivate sustained and substantial philanthropic support among alumni and friends
Provide informed engagement opportunities around strategic institutional initiatives
Recognize and celebrate individuals making significant contributions
Strengthen the University’s ability to grow, innovate, and serve students

Legacy Partners members are not just donors — they are ambassadors and advocates for the continued excellence of Bethune-Cookman University.

Annual Legacy Partner Meetings

Each September, during a home football weekend on campus, Legacy Partners gather for the Annual Meeting.

This exclusive engagement provides members with:

First-hand updates from University leadership
Insight into strategic priorities and program expansion
Opportunities to connect with fellow philanthropic leaders
Direct engagement with those shaping B-CU’s future

It is more than a meeting — it is a moment of alignment, celebration, and renewed commitment to the Wildcat legacy.

Membership

The membership will consist of alumni and friends and is restricted to individuals only. There are five categories of membership available, with the option to move from one category to another. Membership is not automatic; completion of a pledge or request must be made. Initial membership payment can be pledged over three years. There is a minimum annual unrestricted donation required to remain active. Once the minimum amount for a category is achieved, members are moved to the next category, assuming they are active members.

Maroon Presidential Partner

$25,000 to $49,999

Minimum Required Annual Gift ($1,500)

Includes Presidential benefits plus:
Two Tickets to a Wildcats Home Football, Basketball, or Theatre Event*
Personalized Legacy Medallion

Gold Presidential Partner

$50,000 to $99,999

Minimum Required Annual Gift ($2,000)

Includes Maroon benefits plus:
Invitation to Exclusive Leadership Briefings
Private Donor Reception Access

The Presidential Circle

$100,000 & Up

Minimum Required Annual Gift ($2,500)

Includes all prior benefits plus:
President’s Suite Football Experience for Two*
Dual-Sport Event Access*

*Ticket-based benefits require three-week advance notice.

Fair market value of all benefits will be disclosed for tax purposes.
