Alumni Advisory Council

The Bethune Cookman University Alumni Advisory Council is an advisory group to the Office of Alumni Affairs whose purpose is to engage B-CU alumni in the life of the University through educational, cultural, career, and social opportunities as well as benefits and services.

Council members share their insights and expertise on alumni engagement, fundraising, strategic planning, etc… and, together with the Office of Alumni Affairs, strive to keep all alumni active with and throughout the University, supporting their needs and fostering communication.

If you are interested in joining the Advisory Council, please indicate your area of interest on the membership form.

 

Areas of Council focus:

  • Program and Planning will focus on creating innovative and comprehensive programs that benefit the University and strengthen regional chapters.

  • Marketing and Public Relations will focus on creating a communication plan for the overall Alumni Association in collaboration with university and regional chapters

  • Fundraising will create innovative fundraising campaigns that all alumni chapters and alumni groups can engage in and implement.

  • Membership will focus on increasing alumni membership and benefits.

  • Budget and Finance will work with regional chapters and alumni groups in ensuring university compliance.

  • Chapter Coordinator will work with regional chapter leadership to ensure an understanding of the requirements to obtain a chapter charter.

  • Archivist will work with regional chapter and alumni groups in safekeeping and housing of important documents.
